Our Season's closing Pot Luck and Social
Honoring Gerry Brunjes

Just a delightful evening with around 50 members, wives
and guests coming together in the spirit of caring and sharing for
our seasonal Pot Luck and Social.

This evening was special in that we honored Gerry Brunjes for his more than 10 years
of dedicated service to the group.

Here's part of the 'surprise' honors accorded to him at the opening ....

"In 1998, Gerry joined Us TOO Brampton and soon became a key member of our group.
Whenever there has been something to be done, Gerry has been there.
No complaints, no evasion, just willing service.

As you know, Gerry served as our Treasurer for many years.
For a number of years he also served as resident curmudgeon on the Newsletter.
His musings never failed to entertain and provoke discussion.

Over the years, Gerry has also worked on:
The Steering Committee, where he still serves.
The Golf Committee.
Theatre Night, which he ran almost single handedly most years.
Public information sessions.
Free PSA Blood Clinics.
Cruisin' for a Cure.
Wherever & whenever there is something to do, Gerry will be there.

Recently, Gerry turned the financial reins over to Gary Foote.
However, nobody will ever replace him as curmudgeon.
Some of us have tried, but he is the best.
